Rajinikanth to help devotees again

Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple inTiruvannamalai town will soon be visible from as far as  10 km’s if everything goes according to the plan. Mega star Rajinikanth  who is a devotee of SriArunachaleswarar has volunteered to illuminate four of the nine gopurams — Raja Gopuram, Thirumanjuna Gopuram, Pey Gopuram and Amani Amman Gopuram of the temple with focus lights.
As usual this Rajini’s  charity work was hidden, until news started leaking from the temple sources,  so when we caught up with Mr V. Dhanusu the temple chairman said, “The actor spoke to me over the phone and said that he wished to contribute something for the improvement of the temple. I requested him to install focus lights for the four main gopurams of the temple. He initially wanted to organize fire works during the Maha Deepam festival at a cost of 3 lakhs and later accepted our request,”
Earlier Rajini had funded sodium lamps at the expense of 12 lakhs to be placed along the Girivalam path. The lamps are of immense benefit to devotees who perform their rituals at Girivalam during the night. And now he has already sent a team of professionals to have a look at the temples lighting requirements and take appropriate action as soon as possible.
“We hope the temple lights bring new hope for all the devotees at Tiruvannamalai temple. And Long live the superstars charity work”
